mold remediation services

Our Services

Mold remediation is our main work, and it covers finding the growth, containing it, removing damaged material and cleaning what's left. Around that we offer the related help a wet, moldy home usually needs: water damage restoration, drying, odor removal and air cleaning, new flooring and fresh paint.

If you've found mold, a musty smell or a damp spot that keeps coming back, the services below cover what usually happens next. They start with finding and removing the mold and carry on through drying the space, clearing the air and putting your rooms back together, so you don't have to line up a different crew for every step. Each one is its own piece of work, and you can ask for just the part you need.

These services are for homeowners, renters who've talked with their landlord and property managers around Woodstock and metro Atlanta. You might be dealing with a slow leak behind a wall, a flooded basement, a damp crawl space or a smell you can't trace, and you don't need to know the right name for the problem before you reach out. Your home's age, your layout and where the moisture is coming from all shape what the job looks like.

Each card below leads to a page with the details for that service, including what the work involves, what tends to affect the cost and what you can expect along the way. Read the ones that sound like your situation and skip the rest. Because a damp home rarely has just one problem, you'll probably find that two or three of the pages apply to you, and the sections after the cards show how they fit together.

Mold Remediation

Mold remediation is the full process of finding, containing, removing and cleaning mold, then dealing with the moisture behind it. You need it when you see growth, smell damp mustiness or have had water get into your walls, attic or crawl space. We inspect first, seal off the work area, take out what can't be saved, clean what can, and finish with a final check.

Water Damage Restoration

Water damage restoration covers everything between a leak or flood and a dry, repaired home. You need it after a burst pipe, a failed water heater, a roof leak or a backed-up drain. We find the source, extract standing water, dry walls and subfloors, remove materials that can't be saved and keep records of the moisture readings so you can see the drying work.

Odor removal / air purification

Odor removal and air purification clears the particles and gases behind musty, smoky or stale smells, instead of masking them. You need it after mold, water damage or fire, or when a smell lingers and you can't find the source. We scrub your air with HEPA filtration, treat the carpet, drywall and other materials holding the odor, and look for the moisture or residue feeding it.

Carpet/flooring Replacement

Carpet and flooring replacement is what comes next when water or mold has ruined the floor you walk on. You need it when carpet and pad stayed wet too long, when the water wasn't clean, or when planks have swelled. We remove the damaged material, inspect and dry the subfloor, repair what's weak, and install new carpet or hard flooring with trim and baseboards back in place.

Dehumidification and structural drying with a dehumidifier and red air movers on a bare floor beside opened walls

Dehumidification / structural drying

Structural drying removes moisture that has soaked into the walls, floors and insulation of your home, not just the air. You need it after a leak, flood or storm, or when damp spots and musty smells linger. We map where the moisture is, set up commercial dehumidifiers and air movers, check readings every day and keep going until the materials are dry.

Painting and refinishing

Painting and refinishing is the final cosmetic step after water damage or mold remediation. You need it when new drywall, a stained ceiling or damaged trim and wood leaves a room looking unfinished. We prime to block stains, match your paint color and wall texture, and refinish wood surfaces, but only after the area is dry and repairs are complete.

How Our Services Fit Together

On a typical job, the water comes first. If there's an active leak or standing water, that gets stopped and dried before anything else, because mold keeps growing as long as the materials stay wet. The IICRC S500 standard sorts water as clean, gray or black, which tells you how contaminated it is. Water damage restoration and dehumidification and structural drying come early, and mold remediation follows once it's clear where the moisture went and how far it spread.

Some services go together naturally. Odor removal and air purification usually run alongside the mold work, since the smell and the spores both hang in the air. Carpet and flooring replacement and painting and refinishing come last, after the area is dry and clean, because new materials over damp or dirty surfaces just invite the problem back. If you only need one piece, say so, and we'll tell you plainly what else, if anything, should come with it.

What Service Do You Need?

Start with what you're seeing. If you notice a musty smell and can't find the source, you may have hidden moisture, so drying and mold remediation are good places to look. If there's a stain or fuzzy growth on a wall, ceiling or in the crawl space, that points to mold remediation. If a pipe burst, a roof leaked or a basement flooded, water damage restoration comes first. And if a lab report came back with elevated spores, that points to mold work too.

Maybe your carpet is still damp after a leak, or the paint is bubbling and peeling, and you're not sure whether that's a cosmetic fix or a sign of something deeper. That's a fair thing to wonder, and you don't have to figure it out alone. Tell us what you're seeing, where it is and when it started, and we'll help you sort out which service fits. Get in touch whenever you're ready, even if all you have is a question.
