Our story
About Woodstock Mold Remediation
Woodstock Mold Remediation is a small, locally run business that helps your neighbors deal with mold and water damage. You'll talk with the same few people from your first call to the final walk-through, and you'll always know what's happening in your home and why.
How We Started
We started because mold is a stressful problem and most people facing it get either confusing answers or a sales pitch. You find a stain on the ceiling or smell something musty in the basement, and suddenly you're making decisions about your home with no idea what's reasonable. We wanted to be the people you can call for a straight explanation in everyday words, without scare tactics. Our owner built the business around the belief that a worried homeowner deserves to understand the problem before being asked to approve any work, and that belief still shapes how we talk, estimate and finish a job.
In the beginning the business was just a handful of people and a lot of phone calls from neighbors who needed help. Jobs came through word of mouth, and that taught us early that your reputation here travels along the same streets we drive. So we focused on showing up when we said we would, doing the work carefully and leaving the house tidy. We still run that way. The team stays small enough that the person who looks at your problem is someone you can reach again, and someone who remembers what you were worried about.
Being local means we know what Georgia humidity does to a house. You live with it too, so you know how a crawl space can feel damp every summer, how an attic can trap heat and moisture, and how a summer storm can find the one weak spot in a roof. We see those patterns in homes across the north side of Atlanta, and that experience helps us look in the right places first. It also means we care what our neighbors think of the work, because we'll run into them at the grocery store.
Running the business this way keeps decisions close to the work. Our owner oversees every job, our estimator is the person who visits your home, and our office manager keeps your schedule and paperwork moving, so nothing gets lost between departments. We'd rather take on the jobs we can do well and tell you plainly when something is outside what we do than stretch ourselves thin. When it's over, we want you to feel the house is safe, dry and in good order, and we hope you'll pass our name along to a friend with the same problem.

We're based in Woodstock and work across the north metro, from Kennesaw and Marietta to Roswell, Alpharetta and Johns Creek. We also serve Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, Brookhaven, Peachtree Corners, Norcross, Lilburn, Doraville, Smyrna, Mableton and Atlanta. Each of those towns has its own mix of homes, so we don't treat any two jobs alike. Tell us where you are and we'll talk through what's practical for your address.
The homes here range from older houses with crawl spaces and limited ventilation to newer builds with finished basements and tight, well-sealed attics. Georgia's humid summers keep moisture in the air, so crawl spaces, attics, bathrooms and air conditioner drain lines are the places we check most. Storms and heavy rain can add water where you don't expect it. Knowing those patterns helps us find the cause sooner and talk with you about fixes that will hold up in this climate.

How We Work
Every job starts with looking before talking. We check for the source of moisture, see how far the growth goes and note what can be cleaned and what has to be replaced, then explain it to you in plain terms and put the plan in writing. You'll know the steps, the order they happen in and what we need from you. If we open a wall and find something that changes the plan, we tell you before we go further, not after.
While we work, we protect your home by sealing off the area with plastic, running HEPA air filtration and keeping our crew suited up and wearing respirators inside it. Debris leaves in sealed bags, floors and walkways get covered, and we clean up as we go so you aren't living with a mess. At the end we walk through with you, show you what was done and point you toward independent testing if you want a clearance.
Explaining Before We Start
You'll hear what we found, what we recommend and why, in words that make sense to someone who doesn't work in restoration. We put the plan in writing and answer your questions before any work begins, so you're never approving something you don't understand.
Protecting Your Home and Family
We seal off the work area, filter the air and keep our crew suited up, so spores stay where they belong. You and your family stay on the clean side of the plastic, and the rooms we aren't working in stay as protected as we can make them.
Finding the Moisture First
Mold only grows where something stays damp, so we look for the water before we talk about cleaning. Fixing the cause is what keeps the problem from returning, and we'll tell you honestly when another trade needs to help.
Checking the Work Before We Call It Done
We look over the area carefully, make sure it's dry and walk through it with you before we wrap up. If you want a clearance from an independent tester, we'll point you that way, because it gives you proof you can trust.
Treating You Like a Neighbor
You're not a ticket number to us. You're someone who lives down the road, probably worried about the house, and we try to answer like we'd want to be answered ourselves: calmly, honestly and without pressure to decide quickly.
Doing the Hands-On Work Carefully
Removing damaged material, cleaning what can be saved, drying and rebuilding all take patience. We take our time with each step, keep the site tidy as we go and don't skip the dull parts that make the repair last.
