How Your Free Estimate Comes Together
Once you send in your request, we'll follow up with you by phone or email to talk through what you're dealing with and to set up a time to see it. Please don't worry if you can't explain it perfectly. We'll ask a few simple questions about the damp area, any past water trouble and how the home is being used, so we arrive knowing what to look for.
During the visit, we'll look over the affected spots, check how far the moisture has reached and note what work would be needed. Afterward you'll get a written estimate, and we'll go through it with you line by line so you know what each part covers and why. You can ask questions as often as you like, and the decision stays yours.
Questions About Your Free Estimate
Is the estimate really free?
Yes. Asking for an estimate doesn't cost you anything, and that includes the visit where we look at the problem. We'll explain what we see and what the work would involve. If something beyond the estimate ever came up, we'd talk with you about it first.
Does asking for an estimate commit me to the work?
No. An estimate is information for you to weigh, and you're free to take your time, compare it with others or decide not to go ahead. We won't pressure you. If you do want us to do the work, we'll agree on that together in writing.
How long does the estimate stay valid, and what's in it?
Your written estimate will spell out the work, the materials and the steps involved, such as drying, removal, cleaning and any rebuild work. We'll tell you how long it stays valid when we go through it with you, because conditions like moisture can change what's needed over time.
